Queen Mary - Long Beach :) JULY 4th

Beautiful fireworks but bizarre night. Car was overheated and stuck in traffic for God knows how long. I love the beach nonetheless, it is worth it.

Who's with me!?!

Starbucks is my favorite place to study. Why? I can't explain, it just meant to be you know, coffee and munchies and your sedentary things to do = perfection. Well that's only sometimes, the crowded ones are kind of a turn off whenever I'm in the mood to study.
here's a funny video found on youtube about "SB" while watching laugh factory.

What's up world?! Movie winning awards and an 6.6 earthquake in Panama, what are you tuning to?
For me, my interest is shifting to chess, the ultimate strategy board game that was originated from china in the 204-203 B.C.e by Han Xin. Yes he was of course a military leader, a wicked man who can think many steps ahead. Me, I don't have any familiar characteristics and so it's extremely brain-draining. Yes, I might be understating my undeveloped ability for judging it based on a few games I just play for the first time. gotta get myself a chess set and take it on, who knows, might just be at the chess championship like "June" in The Joy Luck Club. I'm truly amazed by those young talented chess players all over the world ♔ chess fwt!

It happens every first friday of the month. I couldn't help but stop and checkout the enthusiastic corner on Garfield Ave. and Main st. that they'd like to call the Downtown Alhambra. It was unexpected to have a rock and roll band playing along with an amazing art show. I realized that there are many talented people in this small town. Unfortunately, I was coming from the gym so without my little camera, picture quality is low, but not unacceptable. I was there for only 20 min, but I'll definitely stay longer next time.

I went to the gym today. Seeing the pool again evoked an elusive memory of mines as I have been trying to recall past memories for quite a month now. The water was clear and blue. It was flashing, shining, reflexing sunlight intrinsically, asking me to join in like always. While being adored by the splashing pool, I felt inferior to the people who were swimming. I could never swim. Every now and then, I would try, again and again. Swimming classes could not improve my poor skills, or rather no skill at all. It was all back when I was a little girl, there’s nothing in my flashback that tells me about age or year. All I can see is me grasping for air, my arms and legs kept on kicking and reaching  and everybody around, no one saw me. I remember the chlorine taste, it wasn’t salt or pure water. Filled my little stomach with it, like having a deadliest spasm I thought it was the end of my life, this was how I die, just drowning helplessly. I have aqua-phobia ever since that water was trying to swallowing me in its enormous inextricable form of existence. They said you always get eight longest second before you actually die, before your soul leave your body. I guess within those eight seconds I snatched my life back from whoever was trying to take me away, you know that ghost with the huge axe. Till now, I still don’t have any clue how my hopeless thrashing movements pushed me back up to reach the side of the pool. The most intriguing thing I still think about is how crowded the water park was, how people were surrounding me unaware that I drown slid down one of the highest slides in there. Maybe some of them witnessed but didn’t care enough to rush over to rescue a little girl? Maybe some thought I was an inborn swimmer, who was brave enough to test her ability? This remains unanswered and overtime will efface into mist, a cold minty one.

"Man, that was something!" mission accomplished. I'm satisfied and tired. at 1:00 this afternoon, i decided to go to the famous elephant hill instead of working out at lafitness. you need fresh air and outdoor activities more being sweaty in the enclosed building smelling people's punks in the summer. There i was, happily eating my fruit basket i bought along the way, capturing nature beauty and reading my magazine. but like they said, good time can only last so long. soon after the chilly kicked in my throat, i needed some water. knocking some doors on the hill seemed like a reasonable survival reaction, nobody answered. I felt like I'm in the dessert at one point. on the way back I went to a different exit that i didn't know. i had so much fun walking for almost an hour to look for my bike which was locked near the entrance i entered! Man, straying is my most gifted area, i kept biking back and forth, reality check i turned around when it was the right direction. long story short, an nice ice-cream truck guy gave me a cold water bottle free of charge when i asked him for direction complaining that my tires are flat (for real). well doesn't matter what happened next i guess, I'm home safe and blogging it :) (no, i didn't went on a carpet ride with aladdin) hehe although that'd cool!

for the longest time, i've dreaming of having a set of guitar and an amplifier. this is it, starting from today and forever lasting my adventure of playing guitar. it is now or never, i will be the greatest guitarist ever alive (beside all the legendary artists like led zeppelin, jimmy hendrix, or tenacious d of course) they're all my heroes and inspiration to all young guitarists/artists out there. the choice is up to me. wish me luck people and i might perform at your birthday. just kidding, I'm well aware theres no luck when it comes to skill and practice one's willing to put in. i wish i was one of the kids in "the school of rock" movie. well it's never to late to do what you want (unless your beyond the age of living...). you are never obligate to not pursue your dreams.

i have Short pinky :(
